Infant Voices Festival
27th of March, 2018
On Tuesday 20th March, the Year 2 choir took part in the Portsmouth Infant Voices Festival and performed to a packed audience at the Kings Theatre, Southsea
The festival brings together primary schools from across the city for a week of musical education and rehearsals, and more than 500 infant children took to the Kings Theatre stage to perform the culmination of their weeks work, with a concert packed with songs taken from Portsmouth Music Hub's recently composed songbook 'My Dream Job'.
The children were very excited to be part of the festival and sang a number of songs with children from other schools within Portsmouth. As a school we were also asked to perform 'Zip a dee doo dah' as a solo. The choir were incredibly proud to do this and represented the school very well.
Thank you to the parents who supported the festival and to Mrs Biddle and Mrs Lewis for their work with the choir to make this such a successful event.Back to Latest News
